*Jennifer (but most people call me just Jenny or Jen)
*21 (bring on America)
*British! English officially but most of my extended family are in Scotland/Scottish (I ADORE the scottish accent)
*An English, Film and Theatre student at uni
*Taurean. Born in the year of the Rabbit (If you like to know that sort of thing)
*Vegetarian. (please don't try to preach about how great meat is, i just don't like preparing/eating it okay?)
*A Gaming geek (since i was about 3, and damn proud of it)
*A bit odd at times! (but in a good way)
*A fan of RPGs, Cocktails, Firefly, Astaire and Rogers films and pretty shiny things.
*Quite articulate but very bad at spelling (do not mock! sorry if it pisses you off, it's not intentional)

I'm scared of!:
*Squid/octopi, anything with tentacles (except cuttlefish bizarrely)
*Large bodies of water
*Decapitation (Reasonable methinks)
*Mould

I hate:
*Extreme hypocrisy, the really stupidly obvious kind.
*Unreasonable hatred.
*Being made to feel stupid/being corrected ALL THE TIME.
*Lack of cultural respect/flexibility.
*Blood tests.
*Pretensciousness.

Strangely, I:
*Am a qualified scuba diver despite my fear of water.
*See animals as largely level to humans, and in some scenarios, prefer them. Animals can't be assholes/liars/cheats/manipulative. People can.
*Have always been the one to care about decorating stuff. My housemates don't seem too bothered!
*Can be obsessivly perfectionist at times.
*Am fully knowledgable in how to deal with a zombie outbreak (Prays that it never DOES happen...Murphy's law and all..)
*Am slightly autistic.

It makes sense to begin with why i chose the name...and I don't know really! I like Mistletoe, and this journal was started a month from xmas so it made sense! Plus 'Mistletoe' was taken so i took 'Mitsletoey' instead (A Word used to describe something having a Mistloe-like smell.....*ahem*..)

DISCLAIMER:
I am a BIG geek. So much so, my Boyfriend gave a me a gold D20 (20 sided die for anyone who doesn't speak nerd) on a chain as a gift and i plan on calling my new guinea pig Rincewind. I also have an unholy obsession for 'The Eye of Judgment'(Edin the persecuted is love)And think that Aeris was so much better than Tifa (hot as Tifa may be). I am a gamer in a big way. You have been warned.

I like playing games (Both board and computor), enjoy veggie 'sushi' and mead, believe that the 360 is by far inferior to the Ps3 (You have to PAY to go on Xbox live???? fuck that)I also enjoy RPGs IMMENSLY but tend to stay away from WoW, I am generally quite a nice person once you get to know me, if somewhat opinionated, I suck at spelling so sorry if that infuriates you, I hate horror but don't scare easily, I own a zombie survival guide (Just in case ;) ), Love cocktails and tend to switch between tomboyish and girly-girl (My last birthday was a 'Boys night in' watching and drinking along with 'Beer-fest' followed by a CTR tournement using an projector but i still squee with joy at small furries)

In addition, I love FF8 more than FF7 (I know the junction system in 8 was a fucking mess, but i was the first one i played, plus gunblades are just simply AWESOME), I am simply superb at sitting on the fence when i comes to things ( I am Agnostic, Bisexual and a Liberal....go figure), I believe solidly in going 'green' and tend to accidently put animals first but I also think It's wrong to push your opinions on other people (So you'll never see me walking up to BBQ party and preaching how 'Meat is Murder', but this also means i don't take kindly to people lecturing me about how i'm going to hell) I'm quite artistic and believe it is better to be yourself and be poor than do something you hate doing and be rich (Hence choosing art and humanties instead of science for my degree...i am SO going to end up in a cardboard box after this..) I also tend to be pretty cold when everyone else is boiling hot and have my own radio show at my uni's union. I never get into tv series when they're being raved about but get obsessed instead when it's over/everyone's got bored of it (I'm only just getting into 'Scrubs'..Thats a Student-tv sin right there) 'The Simpsons' have gone down hill for the last 2 years and 'Futurama' is far funnier anyway, I'm learning to use Poi, love anything flowery and can never make my mind up!

I have a fear of needles, octopi, and of being decapitated, and QVC tend to make me slightly hyper and insane :)

Oh yeah, and platypusses are awesome (Yep, the plural of platypus ISN'T Platypi....look it up)
